    報告人簡介

    Dr. Shijian Lu is currently a tenured Associate Professor in the College of Computing and Data Science at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Dr Lu received his Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore in 2005. Before joining in NTU in 2017, he worked in the Institute of Infocomm Research, A*STAR, Singapore, largely focusing on translational research and collaborations with various industrial partners. Dr. Lu's recent research focuses more on generative and discriminative tasks in computer vision and deep learning. He has published over 300 papers with a H-index of 80 and up to 24,000 citations. He also filed several patents in US, EU, PCT, etc., and his developed technology has been licensed and deployed in daily operations in industrials. He is currently serving as the Associate Editor for the journals Pattern Recognition, Neurocomputing, etc. He also served as Area Chair and Senior Program Committee for CVPR, AAAI, IJCAI, ACCV, etc.
