Shaanxi University of Science and Technology (SUST) is a multidisciplinary university specializing in science, technology and engineering. SUST is supported by National University Basic Ability Construction Project- Mid and West, Shaanxi Province Advanced Level University Construction Project during the 12th Five Year Plan.

學校現誠邀全球杰出青年人才匯聚于古城西安（2016年12月20日-22日），就相關領域的前沿科技熱點問題及個人成長成才、職業發展開展討論。論壇旨在為校內外優秀青年學者搭建一個深入交流的平臺，促進來訪學者與陜西科技大學相關學科和教師建立起實質性的聯系與合作。

SUST sincerely invites distinguished young scholars from all over the world to 2016 Silk Road International Forum (SRIF 2016)(Xi’an, 20-22Dec), SUST Parallel Session.SRIF 2016 SUST Parallel Session aims to build a platform for deep interaction between SUST and distinguished global young scholars. Through discussions of current hot topics on edge-cutting technology in related field, personal career development, links and cooperation relations in relevant field will be strengthened. This forum is also an opportunity for global scholars to better understand China’s West Development Strategy, Shaanxi province and SUST dynamics, a bridge for global young scholars to join SUST and build up faculty.

絲綢之路青年學者論壇(2016)陜西科技大學分會場是陜西省首屆“絲綢之路青年學者論壇”的分會場之一。分會場論壇圍繞國家一帶一路發展戰略和陜西省高校“四個一流”建設計劃，開展海外優秀青年學者與學校之間就相關學科領域的深度交流與對話。分會場論壇包括主題論壇和學院分論壇兩部分內容。主題論壇開展高端學術交流并為與會學者介紹陜科大發展戰略和學校的學科、人才、科研和研究生情況。學院分論壇方便與會學者與學院和學科負責人及校內教師交流，了解學院的工作環境、科研現狀，實驗設備、人才需求等。

SRIF 2016 SUST parallel session focuses on China’s ‘One Belt And One Road’ national strategy and Shaanxi province ‘Four First-Rate’ higher education strategy, aiming to deepen interaction between invited scholars and SUST in related research areas. SRIF 2016 SUST parallel session consists of University Session and School Session. University Session will focus on advanced academic interaction and introduce SUST development strategies, disciplines, faculty, research and postgraduate education. School Session will bring visiting scholars to preferred/optional school for interaction with SUST faculty and a better understanding of work environment, current research, lab equipment, and open faculty positions.

本次論壇面向以下學科領域的海內外優秀青年學者：

申請條件

Qualifications:

1. 申請人具有博士學位，年齡40周歲以下（含40周歲），一般具有2年以上工作經歷。

1. Applicants should hold a PhD degree and are not over 40, with no less than two-year research experience.

2.申請人在所從事領域已取得突出的學術業績，為同齡人中的拔尖人才，已獲得學術界同行的高度認可。

2. Applicants should obtain distinguished academic achievements highly recognized in relevant research areas, ranking in the top-notch talents among the contemporaries.

3.申請人具有廣闊的學術視野和創新思維，具備成為所從事領域領軍人才的潛質。

3. Applicants should have potential of academic leadership with a broad academic vision and innovative thinking.

4.申請人學風嚴謹，遵守法紀及職業道德規范。

4. Applicants should be of dedicated and rigorous scholarship and abide by laws and faculty ethics.

申請人請將會議報名表（見附件）以及個人簡歷以Word或PDF格式發至會務組郵箱srif2016@sust.edu.cn，郵件標題為“SRIF 2016 SUST-研究領域-申請人全名”簡歷應包括個人基本信息(含教育、工作經歷)、研究興趣、學術業績介紹(含論文清單)，以及申請人認為必要的內容，中文或英文簡歷均可。報名表包含如下個人信息：姓名、性別、出生年月、Email、研究領域、現供職國家或地區、現供職單位、中國大陸手機號碼(如有)、首選交流學院(1個)、補充學院(1個)。

To apply, please email your application form (attachment) and CV(WORD/PDF format) tosrif2016@sust.edu.cnwith email subject as “SRIF 2016 SUST-Research Area-Full Name of Applicant”.The CV should include background and work experience, research interests, academic achievements with a publication list. The application form collects applicant’s information including: Name, Gender, Date of birth, Email address, Research Area, Current Affiliation (Country or Region required), Position, and Contact Mobile Number, preferred and optional school in SUST for School Session.

陜科大資助：

SUST Support

本次論壇不收取注冊費用，陜科大為參會青年學者報銷往返國際及國內旅費，并統一安排會議期間的免費食宿和機場、火車站接送，陜西省主論壇與陜科大之間的交通。

Shortlisted applicants need not pay any registration fee. SUST will reimburse domestic and international travel expenses. SUST will arrange free accommodation, meals and transfers from and to the airport or railway station, traffic between the Keynote Session site and SUST.

受邀學者在收到學校的正式邀請函后，請及時辦理簽證，自行規劃行程并購買機票（經濟艙）。會務組報到后，學校為來訪學者辦理報銷手續。

On receipt of SUST formal invitation, invited scholar should arrange visa application, itinerary, and purchase tickets (Economy class). Travel costs will be reimbursed after SUST registration.
